NicotineAI (“NicotineAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools designed to help users understand nicotine-use patterns, track progress, manage cravings, and receive personalized recovery guidance. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how we protect it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Information about nicotine use, cravings, habits, recovery progress, and related personal circumstances may be sensitive. NicotineAI uses this information only to provide, personalize, secure, and improve the service as described in this policy. We do not sell your personal information.
NicotineAI is designed to learn from information you intentionally provide and from your recorded in-app activity. The app may use your history to identify patterns, estimate risk windows, select interventions, and personalize coaching. Personalized outputs can be incomplete or incorrect and should not be treated as medical diagnoses or professional medical advice.
When an AI-processing provider is used to generate or assist with responses, only the information reasonably needed for that function may be sent to that provider. We require service providers that process data for us to handle it consistently with their contractual and legal obligations.
NicotineAI requests camera or photo-library access only when you choose to use a feature that needs it, such as nicotine-product package recognition. You can deny or later revoke these permissions in your device settings. NicotineAI does not require general access to your photo library merely to use the core tracking and coaching features.
If you allow notifications, NicotineAI may send reminders, recovery prompts, or personalized interventions. You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications does not prevent you from using the rest of the app.
Purchases on iOS are processed by Apple. NicotineAI uses RevenueCat to help manage subscription entitlements and purchase status. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. Apple and RevenueCat process certain transaction and account information under their own terms and privacy policies.
We may use service providers to operate NicotineAI. Depending on the feature used, these may include:
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate fraud or security issues, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide NicotineAI, maintain security and records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Different categories of information may have different retention periods. Limited backup, security, transaction, or legal records may remain for a period after account deletion where necessary or required.
You can request deletion directly in the app through the account/profile settings by choosing Delete Account. Deleting your NicotineAI account is intended to permanently remove your NicotineAI account and stored personal recovery data from our active systems, subject to limited records that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, security, transaction, or backup purposes.
Deleting your NicotineAI account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. You must manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID / App Store subscription settings.

You may choose what information you enter into NicotineAI. You may also control camera, photo-library, and notification permissions through your device settings. Where required by applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent concerning your personal information. NicotineAI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. NicotineAI is a nicotine-recovery service and is not intended to encourage or facilitate nicotine use by minors.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their account credentials and devices.
NicotineAI and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy as NicotineAI changes. We will update the effective date when we make material changes and may provide additional notice where required.
